All our passion has gone into making a wine that combines New World winemaking with the classic German Riesling grape. This cool climate Riesling is packaged in a bottle that has won numerous prizes for outstanding design.

       “河湾香”代表着我们酿酒的热情。我们选用德国传统雷司令葡萄,结合新兴产区的酿酒技术酿造这款酒。再搭配我们获得无数全球设计奖项的独特瓶身,可谓是一款精美绝伦的葡萄酒。

 

REGION OF ORIGIN   酒产区

The origin of this wine is the Rheinhessen region along the River Rhine where the warm and sunny climate provides ample sunshine to ripen the grapes.  The Bend In the River takes its name from the majestic River Rhine at the beginning of the beautiful gorge section of the middle Rhine, now a Unesco World Heritage Site. At this point it meanders its thoughtful way past the small town of Bingen, the home of The Bend In The River.

此酒的产区是莱茵河流经的莱茵黑森区。区内气候温和,阳光和煦充足,使葡萄能达到完全的成熟“河湾香”这款酒是根据世界文化遗产之一――莱茵河中部秀丽的莱茵峡谷命名的。酿造“河湾香-雷司令”的酒庄莱茵肯德曼,也正位于莱茵河流经的古城Bingen

 

WINEMAKING   酿造过程

Our winemakers went through the vineyards to determine the day of picking.  Ripe, healthy grapes were harvested end of September. The mild temperatures throughout the summer and the long vegetation period allowed the grapes to accumulate complexity. The grapes were rapidly transported to the winery in custom-made stainless steel gondolas. Then the grapes were pressed gently, cooled down to 5°C to allow the heavier matter to settle naturally leaving behind a clean juice with enhanced fruit definition. The juice was then fermented, using not only yeast cultures from the new world but also traditional German yeasts, at low temperatures of 14-16°C / 57-61°F for approximately 4 weeks in stainless steel. The wine was then left on the fine lees for a further 6-8 weeks, which added texture and structure to the wine. 

首先,我们的酿酒师频繁的视察葡萄园以决定葡萄采摘的日期。成熟饱满的葡萄通常在九月底被采摘。这里的夏季气候温和,所以培育出的葡萄丰满且呈多层次的口感。采摘后,葡萄很快地被运送至酒厂里特制的不锈钢容器中。温和地挤压出汁后,冷却至5°C左右,较重的葡萄汁自然沉淀下来,分离出的则为清澈品质较好的葡萄汁。而后结合新兴产区和德国传统酵母,在14°C -16°C / 57°F -61°F的不锈钢桶中低温发酵4周。之后在酒窖中放置6-8周以增加酒的层次和质感。
